Our Story: Central Texas Coyotes FC

A Club Rooted in Central Texas

Soccer has long been a part of Central Texas' culture. From local pickup games to youth leagues and high school championships, the passion for the sport runs deep in our communities. However, despite this enthusiasm, opportunities for local players to compete at a high level and represent their city on a bigger stage were limited.

In 2018, Central Texas Coyotes FC was founded with a clear mission: to give talented players from our region a pathway to showcase their skills, compete at an elite level, and unite the community through the game we all love.

Building a Legacy

Our journey began in the United Premier Soccer League (UPSL), where we quickly made an impact. Through determination, teamwork, and the unwavering support of our fans, we became UPSL Division 1 State Champions, a milestone that put Central Texas soccer on the map.

As the club grew, we sought new challenges and joined the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL), where we competed against top teams in the Lone Star Conference. This experience helped shape our identity, refine our competitive edge, and establish us as a serious contender in the American soccer landscape.

Now, as we enter a new chapter, we are proud to be part of The League for Clubs (TLC)—a league dedicated to innovation and the long-term growth of independent soccer clubs in the U.S. This move aligns with our vision of sustainability, community-driven development, and giving our players and fans the best soccer experience possible.

Coyotes FC isn’t just a team—it’s a reflection of Central Texas itself. Our roster features homegrown talent, players who have honed their craft in local schools, parks, and academies. Many of our coaches and staff are from the region, bringing years of experience and a deep connection to the game.

Beyond competition, we are committed to growing the game at every level. We actively engage in youth development programs, partner with local organizations, and create opportunities for young players to develop their skills and dream big.

Coyotes FC League & Tournaments

Coyotes FC is partnered with the City of Temple Parks & Recreation. We are in the process of developing adult soccer tournaments, Youth Development Academy, and soccer leagues that will be held at the city of Temple, Texas.

This is a great opportunity for local teams, players, and Coaches to demonstrate their skills on the soccer field. During the tournaments, Coyotes FC will be scouting for future players and coaches and will schedule a future date for tryouts.
